Frequently Asked Questions

Kawasaki Solar Warehousing Private Ltd. (KSW) is a 100% Indian subsidiary of Kawasaki Rikuso Transportation Company (KRT), Japan. Established in 2017, KSW combines Japanese quality standards with India’s agricultural depth to deliver fresh, hygienic, and sustainably grown vegetables.

KSW monitors the entire agricultural value chain—from soil health and cultivation practices to harvesting, processing, storage, and distribution. We also implement Japanese quality management principles and 5S practices to maintain consistent quality standards.

Traceability means knowing exactly where your vegetables come from. We work closely with trusted farming partners and track produce throughout the supply chain, ensuring transparency, accountability, and confidence in every harvest. At times it is not possible to source everything from our farmers. In that case, we source from known wholesale markets with stringent quality checking.

Not all KSW vegetables are certified organic. However, we work closely with farmers to promote responsible farming practices, monitor agricultural inputs, and encourage methods that help produce safe and high-quality vegetables.

The freshness of vegetables depends on the variety and storage conditions. Through hygienic processing, temperature-controlled logistics, and proper storage practices, KSW helps maximize freshness and shelf life from farm to store. For customer convenience, the recommended shelf life is also clearly mentioned on our packaging.

All vegetables are thoroughly cleaned using purified RO water before being carefully packed in recyclable food-grade packaging. This helps maintain hygiene, freshness, and quality while supporting environmental sustainability.

KSW uses solar energy supported by Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), biodegradable packaging, electric vehicles (EVs) within farm areas, and environmentally responsible farming practices to reduce environmental impact and lower CO₂ emissions.

Our warehouses feature Japanese Shikkui plaster technology, which helps regulate humidity and prevent mold growth, creating a hygienic storage environment. Combined with 5S implementation and organized storage systems, this ensures better quality preservation, operational efficiency and alkaline environment.

KSW vegetables are sourced from trusted farmers, cleaned with purified RO water, and handled through a hygienic, quality-controlled supply chain. With Japanese quality standards, traceability, and sustainable practices, we ensure fresh, safe, and reliable produce for your family.

As a subsidiary of Japan’s Kawasaki Rikuso Transportation Company (KRT), KSW benefits from Japanese expertise in quality management, warehousing, operational efficiency, and sustainability. We implement Japanese practices such as 5S, quality control activities, Shikkui plaster technology, and modern supply chain management to deliver better products and services.
